Re posting from the time line of Bishop Thomas Dabre Dear Friends, I have received yesterday the very sad and shocking news of the murder of Om Bankar, last week. He was a STD 4 student in St. Patrick’s Primary School located in the compound of the Bishop’s House here in Pune. He was taken by a neighbour of his who committed an unnatural act on him, which was protested and opposed by the young boy. Finally he was murdered by the culprit. I totally condemn this dastardly act. May the Lord bless the child with Eternal rest and may He comfort the parents, brothers and sisters, near and dear ones of the child. It is very clear that we need to educate, enlighten all people on essential moral values. Nobody can take the importance of moral education lightly. It is because there is no proper moral education and formation that such ghastly immoral acts take place so very often in our country.
