Re-read on Monday: Fearing a partial return to partial sanity, Mitt and Cheney and Jindall et al plot a coup against their own operative framework, hoping to regain a sense of themselves as winners instead of weiners (not only because rampant profits from drug imports seemed to be escaping their clutching grasp, but also the even more lucrative profits from endless war). It was starting to seem as if people werent blindly trusting leaders anymore, and that there simply werent enemies scary enough to keep people in line. An emergency needed to be declared, and enforced. Secret meetings were held, logistics for militarization determined. But spies spying on the spies spying on spies saw this as opportunity, and convinced a healthy segment of the officers cadre, people already disgusted and disgruntled by what they saw, correctly, as the abandonment of their men by the support mechanism they fought for and should have been able to count upon, to catch the plotters red-handed in the act and use THAT as excuse to mount their own coup and rid government of odious corporate control. Then everything slowly started to get better. Amen.
