Read an interview President Obama did on the Charlie Rose show. He mentions DUI and airport security checkpoints as an example of the intrusive nature security that protect us. My argument against that sentiment is that we are aware of when we are under scrutiny in a DUI checkpoint, or passing through airport security. No one asked the American people if PRISM was OK. Furthermore, because of its secret nature, I feel like they never intended to.
