Read some sad news today. They say the Southwest has an 82 percent chance of severe drought for the next 10 years. Southern Cal, Arizona and Utah (surprised Nevada is not in list.) . Washington, Idaho and Montana have 50 percent chance of more water. One thing is hard for me to understand is water rates are high here while in Vegas was dirt cheap. Dont know California water rates but seems to me they would have to be high. One thing I do is shut water off when brushing my teeth...use to let it run. thinking I am conserving water for the next generation. I fear for agriculture in California which will raise food prices ( which are too high now) The quality of life depends on water. If I could share some of our water I would however Oregon and Washington are not willing to send water south. .
