Read this and weep. We are losing yet another caring, responsible teacher who is being asked to sacrifice his own family because educators arent paid enough to just teach; he HAS to supplement his pay by taking on extra jobs just to make a very tightly budgeted lifestyle work. Pete and Repete of my fathers life, he never had enough time to be a proper dad for the same reasons, and also why I will never teach, even though many people say I should be a teacher. Add to that the hateful language, behavior and disrespect that parents, kids, school authorities, and community heap on the teachers, and it becomes a downright mental and physical health hazard to the teacher, as well as to everyone around him.
