Read very interesting article in TIME today. Its called The United States of Texas .... why the Lone Star State is Americas Future...by Tyler Cowen......I didnt like the title or that author is a Libertarian ... but gotta admit hes got something we need to pay attention to. Hes assuming theres no alternative to rich got too much and poor too little.... and Texas is the place to learn more simpler life, needing less cash........supposedly more job satisfaction.. hes got the numbers, and people are flocking to Texas.........But one of my heroes is economist Robert Reich .... and he says that gap between rich and poor is unsustainable ... ...Cowen assumes the hollow middle is okay ... Reichs one book I read predicts we wont work to make incomes more even until something drastic happens (not his word, but thats the meaning I get) ... in other words, when were forced to make gigantic changes, we will....
