***Reader Needs Advice*** NO BASHING!!! Have a question, I have two kids one is 7 the other is 5. Neither of their fathers are in the picture and Im fine with that and at peace with things not working out with either. Never before have I questioned what I call their other life away from our kids what they do and who theyre with is their choice and business but the moment I do care is if it interferes with their place and role in our childrens lives. My 7 yr olds dad had recently started dating an older woman had no clue even though his last gf I tried to play nice invited them over to dinner and wanted to meet the woman that plays a role for my child while Im not there and never happened, This older woman has stepped in and made so many changes first she made him cut off his cell phone ( was only way I could contact him bout things for our child as he lives in a diff province) my ex came to visit throughout the year least four or five times depending on work ..... In 2013 our child only saw his dad for one day three days after his birthday which his dad didnt phone and wish him one. My ex was always dependable when it came to support sent it early if need be and I was understanding when it came to the amount ( the amount could be more than doubled what he sends) and during the summer he was late by four months and mind you I worked 20-30 hours a week at a minimum wage job. And went about 6-7 months not hearing one word from him then like clockwork got Oct payment on time then all sudden I made plans for my children and I to celebrate Christmas out of town since my sons dad never made contact about coming down and soon as he heard we were going out of town he began phoning non stop my cell and my parents house and cell phones saying he be down so I changed plans to stick round..... Christmas came and went nothing then a text saying he be down Monday... Monday passed then text saying Thursday.... Again no show then he finally showed up Saturday and was only around for couple hours. My ex changed again to the person and reason why i left in the beginning and now it affects my sons relationship my question is what do I do next? Im not going to just cut him out of my sons life and know some things he couldnt be made to do and actions are his own. we have court arrangements but it doesnt fit our situation now HELP
