Reader Question: I am new to homeschooling and am struggling with knowing what my children need to accomplish for each year (ages 10, 9 and 6). I feel like I need some structured guidelines of "do fractions at this time, do Civil War at this time, etc. or they are going to be missing out on things they will need for later. Should I follow the local schools posted objectives for each year and utilize my own resources, or am I making this harder than it is? Thanks.
