In order to promote this defective cultural thinking within theology, we continue to see strange explanation for what women can do in the church. Some churches teach that a womans place is in the home and that a woman should be silent in church. Yet, these same churches have no problem with women singing in the choirs, leading praise and worship, cooking food after the service, teaching Sunday School, serving as ushers, and giving their tithes and offerings.
