Push your writing as hard as you can. It takes a lot of energy to get and hold attention. What shes done is to take the mainstream ad slogans over the last five years for major tech players such Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and the like--and then to show how ludicrously inapplicable they are in the South African township shes from. Is it a fair and well-balanced argument? No it isnt and Im very proud of that. I tell them, dont fight fair. Make the strongest rhetorical case you can and leave it to others to dismantle and dispute that. Come in hard and steep like a combat pilot, a street level defense attorney, a shutdown cornerback or a rapper. Let other people be nice and wishy-washy and see all the sides. Stay on the attack, from the first word of the title to the final period.
