Reading all the posts about the Boulder Ironman makes me a little homesick. Today I competed in a parenting triathlon: three gorgeous beaches in one day with two kids. Highlights of the IronMom in Skiathos: --endless complaining of two tired, cranky kids who didnt want to wake up early, get dressed, carry their own bags, nor put on sunscreen. --a kid who needed to poop on two uninhabited beaches and also puke on one of them. --being transported in a crowded boat on choppy seas by a smoking, barefoot old Greek sailor man. It was unbelievably beautiful, as the photos attest. And we had a great time with dear friends!! The IronMom is a challenge, but the rewards are enormous!! (Ps: Im crowd-sourcing iphone tech support: I keep running out of space and cant take photos til I delete old ones. Any tech help with that issue?!? I thought photos were backing up to iCloud, but thats not giving me more available space on my phone. Argh!) #lifeinAthens
