Reading for the fourth time Bawumias lecture on the economy. Though I disagree a great deal with most aspects of the lecture, I fully associate with his stance that dolarisation cant be said to be the cause of our woes but effects of weak economic fundamentals. As to whether these weak economic fundamentals are self inflicted by policies of this government or is simply a reflection of trade complexities as a result of globalisation ushering in at one point a phase of growth and another a phase of decline is an area worth digging! Ghana First!
