Reading through my copy of Dark Globe: Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd! Something struck me. David Gilmour has publicly disparaged Syds guitar playing quite a few times. Yeah, it grates cause personally I LOVE Sys guitar antics. It occurred to me that musicians in general do NOT publicly criticize others, and question whats Gilmours motive in doing? Professional jealousy? Usually, hes a decent guy, but throwing shade on a much loved figure is tacky, tacky, TACKY.
