Ready for some adventure?! Ecology Society would like to invite you on a Fungus Foray! It is organized by the Botanical Society of Scotland with the help of Dr Justin Goodrich (Lecturer in Developmental Biology in the University of Edinburgh). If you have not been to a fungus foray before, it aims to introduce you some of the extraordinary, poisonous, commonly seen and edible fungi. If you feel a need to escape from the big city (or get a rest from essay writing) in the weekend and get closer to nature this is a trip you will enjoy as we are going to the Vogrie Country Park. midlothian.gov.uk/info/200142/vogrie_country_park To go there we meet outside The Rutherford Building (KB) at 10.45am this Sunday (27 October). We will leave at 11am. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Transport will be provided. Take some change in case you need something and you may bring some food but there will be places to buy some. Remember clocks go back this Sunday! Sorry for the really short notice.
