Real MOM Question I was wanting some opinions on age cut offs for Birthday parties? I have a daughter that will be 12 in December and last year we did just a friend party..not food, just cake and ice cream. Every year before that she has actually shared a party with her brother (he is 7) because their bdays are only a day apart. Before that she shared one with my niece for a few years. Is she too old to go all out on a party..theme and all? I feel bad that I still go all out on a party for my soon to be 4 year old, but not her..my 7 year old hasnt had parties of his own either and I feel terrible, I want to start doing his own parties for him too. But anyway, for my daughter..should I have like a sleep over and a small friend party or should I be having a bigger party with family AND friends? She did request to go to a local indoor water park this year and take a friend, but sometimes I feel like its not enough! I do plan on throwing her BIG party for her 13th though. I know its bad that I have had my kids share parties..so please dont judge Thanks
