Real Madrid Exclusive Hey fans to start of I just want to let you guys know I’ll be doing one of these every week so if you have a topic you wish for me to bring up that we fans can discuss just place it in the comments and I’ll be going through them. Today’s topic that I’ve chosen is the Goalkeeper situation So with the international break here and the goal that is being talked about from yesterday’s Spain vs Slovakia game by Casillas, the goalkeeper discussions have opened up again. I think that Casillas has done too much for the club to become a complete bench warmer, but I also feel that the desire after winning la decima (not only for Casillas) has been lacking and his performances have been less than what we have come to expect. With this being said I think Keylor Navas also shouldn’t play every match as he will also have his ups and downs. So what I feel would be the best for Real Madrid this season would be letting Casillas resume duties as the Cup Goalkeeper and letting Keylor Navas take the La Liga spot. This is just my opinion and the point of this piece is to get fans interacting, so comment below who you think should start or what is a fair division of labour between Saint Iker and Keylor Navas? (Avoid being to dramatic over Casillas’s recent form as he is still a club and international legend whose expectations are set really high for every match). -RA08
