Real Madrid are the most dangerous side in Europe, topping the Huawei Team Ranking ahead of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Chelsea for average goals per game. The European champions are amassing 3.67 goals per game so far this season, an incredible return on the 15 shots they are averaging too. With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez in their side, it is no surprise to see the Spanish giants racking up goals at such an incredible rate. The Lionel Messi and Neymar led Barcelona are not far behind Los Blancos in the league and they are also second to them in the Huawei rankings, with 2.56 goals on average. Another one of the continent’s most dominant sides, Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich, have run away with the Bundesliga already and have also been scoring impressive numbers, averaging 2.41 goals in every match. Chelsea are ahead of Manchester City by one point in the Premier League, but nothing separates the two sides when it comes to goals – both teams stand at 2.16, while Italian giants Juventus sit sixth in the table with an average return of 2.13. Sitting at the bottom of the Huawei Team Ranking is Hamburg, whose 0.53 average is alarmingly low, especially when you factor in the 9.35 shots they are firing in every game too. Meanwhile, Aston Villa are not in much better shape, with Paul Lambert’s men on a ratio of 0.58. Granada are struggling in La Liga and it is no surprise considering they are scoring only 0.63 goals per game.
