Real Time Markets Subscribers - This post is pre-emptive, but we have noticed in pre-market activity that Intraday Charts may still be broken for many users. We are just as frustrated as you are about the ongoing outage, and continue to apply pressure to our data provider. We do have a workaround that will work to chart companies whom primarily trade on the NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA, OTCBB, and Pink Sheets, which covers a substantial number of securities -- you may find the workaround below. There is no workaround at present for indices. Workaround: 1) Open an Intraday Chart 2) Type in your ticker symbol, followed by a hyphen and primary exchange code (ex, AAPL-S, IBM-N) 3) You should now have access to charting for that security on its primary exchange (only during market hours, unless the exchange supports pre/post-market trading) List of primary exchange codes: - N - NYSE - S - NASDAQ - P - ARCA - 8 - OTCBB - D - Pink Sheets We are discussing options for alternative compensation, and will announce more when that is ready. While we have little control over this issue directly, we still want to strive to make it right with our thousands of students.
