Real rap, Lupe is a supreme lyricist; one of the greatest ever. We get it, Lu. In my brief assessment of Tetsuo & Youth, I listened to the project hoping to be inspired... After listening, Im still not. I havent heard a cohesive Lupe project since The Cool. After three albums (post The Cool), I dont believe I ever will again. No, Lupe fans, the project didnt go over my head. I get it. I just dont care for it. Its not an enjoyable listen when you have to over-think everything. The point of creating music in rhyme format is to have something to say that can be understood by the listener. I think he missed the mark for most reasonably intelligent people. I will say, Lus beat selection is more enjoyable this go around. There are a few dope records, but overall, I doubt Ill listen to this album again. #ehhh
