Realizing that while I may have been searching for inner peace, I may have been doing more of an inner push - forcing, controlling and manipulating. Even looking for peace has become an effort, a checkmark on a to-do list. Like, can I squeeze it in between clients on Wednesdays? Life is always refining and polishing itself. My definition of peace 10 years ago probably looks a lot different than my definition of peace today. I mean, 10 years ago I would not sigh a breath of relief and calm just to get to go to the grocery store by myself.
