Really ENJOYING my role in Lions this year. Getting out and meeting some lovely, genuine people who put their all into making this world just a little better for others and maikng it happen with true FRIENDSHIP and selfless acts. It is SO good to get that burst of energy and positive enthusiasm, yet do things at my own pace. Feeling the positive encouragement from people who really want me to achieve success in what I do.....and support me when I stumble (as I have, and will).........now that is absolutely priceless. Now it is time for our Club and Members to move onwards and upwards with pride and positivity to give even more for those in need of our service and support in our local area and the wider world. And for those who wonder what it is that we Lions do exactly, call me, email me, write to me, or of course just turn up at The George Hotel, High Street, Amesbury, SP4 7ET on Wednesday 19th November or The New Inn, New Street, Salisbury, SP1 2PH on Wednesday 17th December (7.30 for 8pm on both nights), meet a few of my 1.37 million friends and see how we make a difference.......AND have FUN doing it!!
