Really altering my workouts now that I wont be competing until 2016. I want to increase my strength. Going to do 3 major lifts (full body) and 3 days will be conditioning. Boxing, KBs and a workout like in the video. I will do HIIT once and steady state once. I like to have a plan!! I may not be competing for awhile but I am going to stay in shape. I dont need to get on stage to look good. My abs and 7% BF doesnt make me fit and healthy! It doesnt define me. The workout below went as follows: A1. Pull ups (proper pull ups): 8,6,5,5,4 reps A2. 15 lb Sandbell slams: 20 reps A3. Bent over DB row: 25 x 2 10 reps A4. Battle ropes: 15 secs alternating wave. 15 sec dbl wave Rest 60 secs did 5 sets. Quick but hard!!! Alternatively you could do asstd pull ups with a strength band or (not my fav choice) on a asstd pull up machine. Sorry my pullups got cut off. I did my best on my own! ;)
