Really focussing on SQUEEZING and CONTRACTING the working muscle is far more beneficial than simply adding weight to the bar! Remove momentum from your lifts and emphasise on a slow controlled movement in order to get more bang for your buck! Leave the ego at the door and focus on technique and contracting each muscle youre targeting.
