Really hoping for a tie-in with the Valeyard in the series 8 finale, but then again, I also want to be surprised. For background, there was an entire season devoted to Doctor #6 being put on trial by the Time Lord High Council. In it, it was revealed (by the Master, no less) that the prosecutor in the trial, the Valeyard, was actually a future incarnation of the Doctor. The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the darker sides of your nature, somewhere between your twelfth and final incarnation.
