Really interesting poll by Pew. I am a dork. I read The Federalist Papers when I was in fifth grade and I really enjoyed it. One of my favorite papers written by John Jay (who does not get as much action as Madison or Hamilton), which I think is underplayed but answers this issue pretty clearly. As I told the woman at Verizon today while she was fixing my phone, I hope the government is listening to my daily conversations with my mom in which she tells me to take my calcium and give me ideas for my radio show. Ready for Dominic Rossetti to tell me I am crazy or evil as usual.
