Really the letter from the Film and Publication Control Board defies belief. By the age of consent for males and females in South Africa is 16. I suspect the censors will loose this on appeal on technical grounds. But worse, the regulations they cite are incomprehensible gibberish. And worse yet, what really appalls me is the self-righteous tone in which the prioritise form (banning a film which depicts a social issue) over content - actually doing something about gender crime.
