Really tired. We will have a write up soon (as soon as we can). Oh what a story we all have this year from this race. They say this is one of the toughest 100 mile races you could ever run....and they are right. It is not the elevation, it is not the climbs, its the ROCKS!!!! everywhere, no good footing for 90 of the 100 miles. It is awful. We will have photos up as soon as we can and of course we will start on the video too. However there are two things that we can not wait to post or say, and we can not say it enough.....THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you that help us, encourage us, support us. You will never know how much just the kind words do for us. Secondly, Cook Bob Melissa Brion Kerry Kayla Angie Kent Larissa Patton Nick Diana Silvia Rodolfo Javier and Lonzo Thank you is not enough and will never be enough for these 15 people (and the cutest mascot ever, Lonzo). They were everything to us this weekend. They not only were the best crews on the course (unless you were there you will never understand what these people had to do and how hard it was) they were our life line. They made us laugh, they held us when we cried, they listened to every word as if it was the most important thing ever said, they ran with us, they walked with us, they sat with us, they never let us want for anything while running and while recovering, they waited and waited and then at a moments notice would spring into action and then they would wait some more, they rubbed our shoulders, they rubbed our backs, they patted us on the back, when we were down they pushed us on, sometimes they said absolutely nothing and would just be there, they took photos and video for us as if we were celebrities, they danced for us (which was amazing), they came onto the course looking for us when we were late to a station, they helped other crews and racers constantly (they ran with other racers and crewed for other racers) they treated us like kings and queens.....I could go on and on...but most importantly they treated us like we were the only ones out there...actually the treated us like FAMILY. As I (Andrew) sit here and write this I am in tears. What these 15 people did for us we will never be able to repay, EVER. The bond we have with these 15 people is more than just family....it is a bond like no other. I, personally, have never thought that there could be anyone more important to me than Stephanie, Eston, Caymin, and Madison but I was wrong. These 15 people are amazing. The least we can do is say thank you and we love all of you.
