Really tired of people bashing her for doing what she likes to do, hunt. It may not be a deer, turkey, duck, dove, or any other animal a normal Texan, or any person for that matter, would hunt. You say she isnt doing the right thing and she is doing it for fun. Read all the facts and articles. She pays to go to Africa to hunt these animals to give food to villagers and to help the villagers keep their crop from getting taken away by predators to that village. She also states that she eats some of what she kills herself. Yes, I am an animal lover and I LOVE zebras, lions, and leopards, but she has a special permit to hunt these animals that are overpopulated in some areas. Whats the difference between her paying to hunt these animals in a different country than us paying to go to hunting camps to hunt deer, moose, or any other animal in a different state? Whats the difference between her having a permit to hunt these animals and give the meat to a village than having a villager go out without a permit and hunting the same animal. And why is it that she has a permit and its wrong what shes doing, yet its okay for us here in the United States to have a license to hunt animals? Just because shes in a different country hunting exotic animals inside a hunting camp, meaning the animals can be hunted just like hunting a moose in the United States in a hunting camp, doesnt mean she needs to be getting such negative attention. Shes a teenager doing what she likes to do.
