Reason #3 from Frank... (Sorry, going to post last 3 all together!) Its time to reveal the final three reasons I believe the the Seattle Seahawks will win SB 48. Before I begin with reason #3, I just want to pay my compliments to the Denver Broncos. They are a stellar team and have had a stellar season. I consider myself a Peyton fan, but of course Im going to pull for the Seahawks. I will be extremely upset if the Hawks dont win, but if theyre going to lose I would just as soon see it be to a class-act like Peyton. Alright, lets move on to reason #3 and that is the young man who wears #3 for the Seahawks, Russell Wilson. Russ and the entire team have transformed this organization from one that hopes to win, to one that expects to win. That is the recipe for a championship culture, similar to what you might see in places like Boston, Chicago and New York. Though Seattle is nowhere close to them in athletic history, Seattle now shares a similar mindset. A lot of people have been focusing on Wilsons lack of performance in the last couple games of the regular season and the playoffs, however look at who they were up against (SF, STL, NO, AZ, etc.) Throughout the course of the year, Wilson has been a consistent game manager and has made very few errors. He may not always win the game for you, but you can almost always count on him not to lose it for you (on a team like this, that may be even more important). His maturity, leadership and intelligence are intangibles that every coach dreams of. Here are just a few stats from this season: Passing yards: 3,357 (16th) Completion percent: 63% (12th) TD/INT: 26/9 (9th) Rating: 101.2 (7th) Rushing yards: 539 (3rd amongst QBs) What does not show up in the stats are his ability to scramble, extend plays, endure sacks, quick releases, football IQ, etc. Wilson was made for a game like the Super Bowl. Watch for them to go with some read option if the LB or ends start keying in on Lynch, that will open it up for Wilson...a scenario I would REALLY like to see develop. If Seattle is going to win, then Russ must produce and I believe he will.
