Reason #327 why I have the best job in the world... On the last day of class, a 2-time student (and current undergraduate researcher), Zack Barth, presented me with the following book... Come to find out, Newt was peddling his book at a bookstore where Zacks mom is an employee. He had it inscribed for me. For those of you that dont want to waste anytime reading Newts chicken scratch, as best I can tell it says, To Sean Theriault: Hopefully this will lead to a solution oriented Senate. Your fan, Newt. Zack tells me that Newt had heard of my research and thinks that I give him too much credit. Frankly, thats amazing to me. I mean, I dont think Newt has every thought that someone gave him the adequate amount of credit, let alone too much. Anyway, it was a very kind present -- and, I got it a day before I found out that THE GINGRICH SENATORS was named a finalist for the 27th Annual D.B. Hardemann Prize for the best book published in 2013 on the Congress.
