Reason has become a luxury. Whilst typing this on the search bar, the top result I got was vs tropes. This just shows that the true reason behind modern feminism is the fact that humans are opportunistic creatures that are driven by the desire to better their own lives as much as possible. Accepting Anita Sarkeesians narrative as true shifts things in their favor as they suddenly become entitled to help and support so that they can fight the constant threat of the patriarchy. If they accept this as the truth, then they have to accept the fact that they are not opressed and they are not entitled to any special aid, having to deal with the harsh world like everyone else. Essentially, confirmation bias. They follow the stupid cunts because theyre preaching a story they like. The truth however is different and it is also absolute. Turning a blind eye to it will not make it untrue. The only way ,however, to help women, to help anyone, is if you accept the truth as it is and work with it. Spreading lies and misinformation to support your arguments only makes for weak foundation, unless of course you conivnce enough people that your lies become the truth, which is ,sadly, whats happening right now. I became an anti feminist because I wanted to get involved in feminism and realised it was full of shit. My problem is not with the word itself, its the fact that it is simply not what people believe it is. The acts done in its name are the complete opposite of what it is supposed to represent. If all feminists were like her, Id be a feminist. -Puck
