Rebecca Culp and I have made it home from Roanoke Valley Comicon. We stayed overnight in Roanoke for pampering only The Regency Room could provide. We had a wonderful show! I was thrilled to get to see so many friends. Travis Burch and I finally got to meet in person and both had a laugh that his parents and I knew one another. I got to see the wonderful hairstyle Haley Punk had done by Cathy Toomey Harmon. Zach Wray and I finally got to get a few words exchanged ion person. I got to hold John Simpson and Heather Simpson delightful baby Izzy. Posed with friends from Reeking Havok for photographs. And totally exhausted myself with the day. However, I am sorry to say I have a few complaints and regrets about this Con. I wish my conversation with Steve Harris had lasted until (at least) tomorrow. I hate that Rebecca and I could not leave our tables to have a photograph done by Sci-Fi Photo Guys! I wish we had had a bit of free time to see the other dealers wares. (I didnt see the At-at until he ad packed it up after the show was over.) I would have liked to just sit and hold Izzy all day. It would have been great to just be able to sit and talk the entire show with the friends we had that were vending and visiting. To all of you that came by to see us, I send a Sincere Thank You! I wish there had been more opportunity to socialize. You all mean the world to us!
