Recap. Today’s round was hard to watch in person. It was even more difficult to watch on TV. If you haven’t watched it, don’t. If you have watched, you understand why Cooper opted to skip his watch party today. The first round of the two-day final was all about speed. Alan and Jeff consistently beat Cooper to the buzzer for the entire round. They were both on, and he was not. He was only able to sneak in for a few times and get points. In the end he was in a distant third place entering Final Jeopardy. Feeling the need to bet aggressively, he wagered almost everything in Final Jeopardy and missed on a difficult question (particularly since the show was taped before the movie came out). It is hard to describe the range of emotions, from winning in dramatic fashion earlier in the day to the feeling of utter helplessness in front of about 9 million people. At the end of the round, I was not sure he would even be able to come back out after a thirty minute break for the final round. But, he does..... Watch party tomorrow - 2:00 p.m. - Razorback Pizza
