Recap for Sept 8/14 At home, Sonny comforts Will who is missing Sami. He says theyll get over this. Sonny leaves with Arianna. Wills former editor, Zoey, arrives and tells Will that Victor fired her but she got a job as editor at Sonix. She wants to work together again and apologizes for putting him in an awkward position by printing Abigails name. Will says he wont write about his family again. She pulls out a contract. Will says he has to talk to his husband. At the hospital, Lucas tells Jordan hes sorry about her and Rafe. She wonders why he cares - Kates his mother. Lucas assures her he wouldnt want to see Rafe and his mother together, but he believes her that what happened meant nothing. Jordan thinks he wants her to reconcile with Rafe to punish Kate. Lucas tells Jordan shes beautiful and amazing - hed love to see her happy with someone. At the station, Kate tells Rafe that Sami heard Stefano threaten to kill her over speakerphone. Rafe asks Sami exactly what Stefano said. Sami tells him that Stefano told Kate he would kill her when he got back to Salem and called her a broken down w****. Kates eyebrows go up. Rafe warns they may need to testify and exits. Kate and Sami bicker about testifying and whether or not Stefano would kill them. Kate thinks he would - they have to face reality. Rafe returns and says Trask will put both of them on the stand today. Once alone, Sami and Kate practice their story and bicker. Rafe enters and says they wont be testifying after all - he found new evidence and theyve got Stefano dead to rights. Kate is perplexed. Sami hugs him. Later, Kate tells Sami she thinks Rafe had help finding the evidence. Sami goes. Nearby, Clyde introduces himself to EJ and wants to do business together. Clyde then claims to be nervous meeting EJ and clarifies that hed like to work for him. He tells EJ that he thinks his people are ripping him off and he can help. Clyde goes on about breakage and spillage and how he can stop it. EJ asks if hes finished and then walks away. Clyde phones someone and says he thinks hell be set up for good in Salem. At the pub, Sonny tells Lucas that Will is working on something new. They talk about Ally meeting an awesomesauce boy at camp before returning to Will. Sonny is pretty sure Will wishes he hadnt written the article and feels bad about getting Victor to hire him. Lucas talks about them working through things. Learn from my mistakes. Outside TBD, Ben tells Abigail he knows she was thinking about EJ when they kissed. She admits it. Ben tells her he doesnt do rebounds. She protests that she doesnt want EJ. Ben goes inside, where Tad asks Ben if he can ask Abigail out. Ben glowers, so Tad suggests maybe its not over after all. He sends Ben to the storage unit for olives. Outside, Abigail runs into Jordan and tells her she and Ben might be over. They discuss her issue with EJ. Abigail thinks the article dredged it up again. She cares about Ben and thought they had a chance. Jordan urges her to fight for what they have. Later, Abigail enters TBD and finds Ben in the storage unit. Somewhere unknown, Stefano arranges for a jet to Salem and talks on the phone about Kate and Sami being neutralized - theres nothing else they can do now. At the DiMera mansion, EJ orders a background check on Clyde and wants his claims investigated. Stefano calls, and is upset about Rafes new evidence. EJ offers to investigate. Stefano grumps, Those women. EJ says hes watching them. Stefano growls about paying them back once the charges are dropped. Sami arrives and hears EJ on the phone with the kids. She tells him the judge ruled against Stefano. EJ says its a lucky break. Sami says it wasnt luck. I know what you did. At home, Will tells Sonny he got a job offer from Zoey, who landed at Sonix. Sonny cant believe hes considering it - she almost ruined his life. Will wants to write about things that matter. Sonny offers to go to Victor, but Will says Zoey wants him for his writing. Sonny sighs and says hell support him. He clearly already had his mind made up. Jordan enters Rafes office in time to see Kate kiss him and thank him for looking out for her.
