Recap from todays meeting: 1) WELCOME ALL NEW MEMBERS! Princeton Filmmaking Club is looking forward to a great year. (y) 2) Goal of the Club: To create and bring to life our very own movies. 3) How do we do that?: It is up to you! You can create a story plot, write a script, audition to be an actor, direct a movie, work as a camera man/woman, help with sound (special effects, editing, or creating your own soundtrack), help publicizing events, and, or ALL OF THE ABOVE!!! 4) In the meeting today we talked about how it is possible to do one of the these without the other; that is a major point of Princeton Filmmaking Club--Collaboration. Princeton Flimmaking Club encourages everyone to try something new, but if you want to see your movie idea come to life, but dont want to write a script, someone else will most likely be willing to script it for you! So get out and be productive! 5) The topic of getting your idea out is important and there are a few ways to do so.-- If you have a story plot, script, music score, etc. contact the officers at phsfilmmaking@gmail -- Along with that you can also tell one of the officers (Ian Stewart, Nick Pibl, Talia Zinder, Aaron Olkin, Nathan Drezner). 6) Getting your idea selected: To be as fair as possible, the idea you send will be discussed by the officers. Typically, we will compile all the scripts, plots, etc. together and vote on a reasonable amount that we find appropriate. (Currently we have two movies in pre-filming stage). 7) AUDITIONS!!!!-- The two movies we have Lost to Time and Runners Haven will be held on WEDNESDAY MARCH 12th @ 2-3:30pm. (If you cant make it talk to one of the officers to schedule a different time) If you did not attend meeting today and would like to still audition contact one of the officers for more information to receive the audition form.
