Received many beautiful gifts this year. Marley & Theo bought me many things, my favorite being my Radko Santa. ;) As always, they treated me like a mommy princess. Stephen also spoiled me... the gift that got me crying was a basket full of books and such by a northern Michigan artist named Gwen Frostic. Stephens mom took him to her studio back in the 70s during their annual camping trip near Interlochen. I cant do her art and words justice here in pictures. Look her up for I know so many of you would find her work amazing (Nancy and Mikki come to mind). He remembered a studio in Detroit that i took him to that I love. You can create your own printmaking pieces. And he remembered that I love all things nature. Its so cool that the trip he took long ago popped into his mind and I received these beautiful books that Ill always treasure. Oh, and there are lots of birds throughout the books, my moms favorite. Its just SO amazing when someone gets you and knows exactly what moves you. So lucky.
