Received the new [enter name of prominent yoga magazine that I am to chicken too call out yet here] today. I try not to post anything negative on this page, but I have to say I was so disappointed. There was the usual images of beauties of a general size and shape, although with some diversity regarding ethnicity (yayyayay!!!), but little to no other diversity except for an article regarding purchasing yoga clothes for different body types. I dont know if I am crazy, overly sensitive or looking to be disappointed, but I am considering canceling my subscription to this beautiful magazine that has inspired me so much. I would love to hear thoughts on this. I hope that there is a way to promote positive body image, diversity of all types and inclusiveness within this type of publication.
