Received this cool email today from an HR pro in the UK: Dear Kimberly, I write simply to thank you for your blog posts (eg: Im an HR hater today), your common sense and generally this entire site. As a fellow HR consultant, director and advisor to many in the UK, I value being able to read your posts. I love your straightforward manner - this maybe the US way but we Brits, of course, usually try to make the situation nicer than it needs to be! Keep up the great advice and the way you give it - you are much appreciated. If ever in the UK it would be great to hear you speak. Till that opportunity arises I will continue to read your posts with glee and think: someone else thinks the way I do about this stuff! Take care.
