Receiving this news really shook me up ......... more than one might think. I have not seen Jill since at least 1999. I worked with Jill at Zellers in Fredericton for 9 years. Jill taught me many things over those 9 years, but the most important thing was that ALL people are of equal value. ALL people are important and deserve their place in society. I took this lesson with me into my teaching career and .... I do not want to brag ..... but I feel I have a great relationship with ALL of my students as a result. My favorite Jill moment is the time I was unloading a truck and a propane tank fell off a pallet and hit me on the head. I was swearing like a sailor .... as you can imagine. While this was going on, all I could hear in the background was Jill yelling, Dont swear! This got me laughing my ass off instead. Helped me through a painful situation. :) You will be missed, Jill.
