Recent appointments in the Marist Fathers Community (Society of Mary) include Fr Milio Vakasirovoka taking up the post of Parish Priest of Holy Cross Parish, Taveuni, with his assistant being Fr Mikaele Marisi. After the passing of Fr Rafaele Qalovi two senior Marist Priests; Fathers Emiliano Lasaqa & Fabiano Dakai have taken up the posts of Parish Priest & Assistant Parish Priest in Mount St Mary Parish, Namaka, Nadi, respectively, whilst Fr Ipolito Bakaua remains as the Parish Priest of Holy Eucharist Parish, Laucala Bay. Former Parish Priest of Holy Cross, Fr Petero Tagidrau has been posted to Sacred Heart Parish, Levuka as Parish Priest, whilst Fr Emeri Ratucoko is posted to Bougainville and Fr Ashton to PNG. Let us join Mother Church in praying for the Pope, all bishops and priests everywhere, that God might strengthen them in body and spirit for their vocation to service
