Recent polling puts Bruce Poliquin ahead in his race against Emily Cain. Thank Goodness. I ask my friends who read this message and live in the Second District, be sure to consider Bruce when you vote on November 4. I honestly dont believe that anyone has run for Congress in our rural Maine District who is as extreme as Emily Cain. Her obsession with government spending, on the backs of our working class should frighten most middle/lower income voters. On at least 3 times Maine voters went to the polls, at referendum, to repeal legislation that she had supported in the Legislature. Remember the 101 new taxes ( on pet grooming, car repairs, dry cleaning) and the tax on diet coke to fund the welfare/health Dirigo law? The answer from Emily Cain is always the same....tax tax tax and the working man pays and pays and pays. For those who dont really know Emily Cain.....BEWARE. We already have the radical Pingree representing Maine in Washington. One is enough......
