Recently I helped a friend through some things, my wife and I fed him and excepted him with open arms, in an effort to be more christ like,well unfortunately it came back and bit us in the butt,and really swayed me from wanting to help anyone i know that is bad and i dont want to feel that way because i feel as though christ has called on me to help the less fortunate. Being that Ive been homeless and know how hard it was i hate seeing people in that position.how can I still help and not feel taken advantage of?
