Recently I performed at “QUOZ Arts Festival” and was specially invited by “The Fridge” as their exclusive artist for the Singer/Song Writer Truck. I was humbled by the respect and love from the organizers and the crowd, despite ME being the only the South Asian Singer/Songwriter presenting Bollywood / Pop music. Sound set up was very simple and yet mind blowing. I bet this is the first time ever I’ve experienced the best sound in UAE till date of all my shows. From the planning, follow up, coordination, arrival of artist, announcements, time slots, connecting people with the theme, uniqueness of the stage and performing artists …. Was absolutely jaw dropping … I wondered always when my seniors quoted often that the Western / European music industry is way high above the levels. I guess with this one experience of mine has given me all answers and now I look forward to be a part of this league to bring out the true artist from within to the crowd. Thank you “THE FRIDGE” and I’d like to mention a special thank you to Serene Humayun for mentioning “The Fridge” name during my interview on her TV talk show Dubai Calling.
