Recently, a mother Eastern Red Bat and her two pups were dropped - TopicsExpress

Recently, a mother Eastern Red Bat and her two pups were dropped off at the Freeman Fritts Veterinary Clinic in Kerrville and were later that same day, picked up by a WRR Apprentice Caretaker and brought to the hospital in Kendalia. They were given a thorough exam where it was realized that the mother and both pups were healthy. They stayed in the hospital overnight. The next day, WRR Staff and Apprentice Caretakers took the mother and the pups back to release them where they were originally found. Mother took one pup, but one pup was left behind. The pup who was left behind was taken to the Austin Bat Conservatory the following day where she could be cared for.
