Recently, a window washer kind of sort of maybe saw me not really pick my nose except I definitely really was oh please like you have never picked your nose too. First of all, there is no exaggerating how horribly window washers startle me every single time, without fail. I have cried, fallen out of chairs, shrieked bloody murder, and once literally screamed “NO GOD NO DON’T DO IT” in front of my entire former office staff because I thought someone had jumped. Oh and one time a hand holding a suction thingy reached into my line of sight and hit the glass next to me and I reflexively leapt to my feet and shoved my computer monitor backwards, which makes no sense at all (and luckily I had a backboard/hutch thingy and did not do much damage). This time, I chose to press my face to the window and yell I had an itch!! And he actually laughed and gave me the “suuuuuure” type of head nod and a thumbs up. So then I changed mindsets and yelled back YOU’RE NOT BETTER THAN ME YOU KNOW.” He laughed and I thought we were done…. but as he repelled away a minute or so later he yelled out “nose picker!” Which was pretty funny and a win for him. He won.
