Recently many of my friends questioned (mainly on social media) whether God really exists or not; If yes then why so many damages of lives in the Patna stampede during the holy festival of Dussehra. Were not they celebrating God’s own festival on her own temple? Will they still continue believe in God? Yes, all the posts are somehow quite logical and mostly they are from well-educated as well as well settled argumentative Indians who probably does not believe in God. Instead of the circumstances, if we go by underlying context, probably we may have another perspective: Let’s say a daily wager in India who hardly earns 150 rupees for a day (though the daily job is not guaranteed in most of the cases) for the livelihood of his entire family and one of his family members is suffering from some critical disease and the cost of the treatment is way beyond his imagination. Leave the multi-specialty hospitals mainly built for upper class people; He cannot even afford for Govt. Hospital expenditure; at that time the only rays of hope for his entire family will be an unknown entity or power which can save their beloved family member from the grasp of the disease; In that case whoever will help them He or she will be God or God’s representative to them? A quote from Gandhi Ji for those who are in search of God: The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” The day we find our true selves, we find the God at the same time;
