Recently nation faced unfortunate incident where 24 innocent lives got washed away in Himalyan River. We cant go back and change what is done, however we can avoid such incidents by spreading awareness and precautions: For Government: We urge Govt to make strong guideline on warning signs, siren alarms, security person deployment in such places where tourist come, to avoid such incidents. It is not the first time such incident occurred. Moreover there must be strict rule about releasing water, time and amount of discharge. Preferably it should be done in night when chances of people being in river is least, and whenever it is done it should be slow increase in water level. For People: We urge you not to ignore any warning signs in such areas, always discuss with locals before you have fun in rivers, take safety measures, tubes, rope etc with you. Be safe and cautious. This video is stark reminder of how life can be lost in the most unexpected way and so quickly. TLI requests its users to spread the awareness and caution while also raise your voice against the complete slack with which the government and officials have been reacting to the incident.
