Recently shot a Yoruba (Nigerian/ Liberian) Engagement. Im literally in awe how amazingly different culturally that every ethnicity is when it comes to the ceremony and the sacred union of marriage. Traditionally in this culture, the groom enters with his entourage of young men, they prostrate (lie flat on the ground) in front of her parents and ask for their blessing and prayers. Upon approval, the parents raise him up and he sits between them and hugs them. To have had this opportunity and to share it with the world, Im #speechless and #humbled God you are so good.
