Recently the Biology department at UNF has been doing a lot of research work on normal bacteria of the gut and the affect that sweeteners have on them. Jordan Davis, one of the MLS third cohort students, is currently working on research in this area and its possible role in diabetes. Below is an article that is taking a different approach and I thought I would share as a lot of students have an interest in stem cell research.
