Recently the Metro Area and St. Louis Park have experienced thefts from autos and garage burglaries that are occurring overnight into early morning hours. In some of these cases, the suspect(s) is/are believed to be traveling on a bicycle at night. If you see anyone suspicious or hear suspicious noises, such as glass breaking, dogs barking, voices or people walking outside of your home during odd hours, please immediately call 911. In response to these crimes, the St. Louis Park Police Department has increased bike patrol as well as investigators are following up on suspect leads.
